You can learn more and register here » Hosted by the Industrial and Labor Relations (ILR) Worker Center at Cornell University, this event will bring together labor leaders, union climate activists, environmental and environmental justice advocates, clean-energy developers, policymakers, scientists, and anyone who wants to build the clean-energy economy of tomorrow with good union jobs. The Summit convenes during this week's Climate Week NYC and features speakers and panelists from around the world. We highly encourage you to tune into all or as much of this event as possible to hear from this powerful and renowned group of speakers on topics related to just transition. Sessions will explore the ways climate change and inequality are inextricably linked, dig into specific opportunities for bold climate action and building new industries, and engage in a holistic discussion about just transition for workers in fossil fuel industries and their communities.
